Declaring a significant radiation protection event
Radiation protection events with actual or potential consequences for workers, patients, the general public or the environment are referred to as 'significant radiation protection events' (ESR).
Significant radiation protection events that meet one or more criteria must be reported to the Radiation Protection Division (Division de la radioprotection) and analysed by the establishment concerned, in accordance with Article 145 of the Law of 28 May 2019 on radiation protection.
