In Luxembourg, vaccinations are not compulsory, but they are strongly recommended. Vaccines protect children and adults against dangerous and even fatal diseases. Vaccinations are an integral part of preventive measures that will enable you and your children to enjoy a healthy life.

All vaccinations listed on the vaccination schedule are free of charge for patients.

As a result, patients do not have to pay for the vaccination and will only be responsible for the cost of the medical consultation. (see Social Security Code).

Keeping your vaccination status up to date

In order to keep your vaccinations up to date, it is recommended that you consult the vaccination schedule available on sante.lu or in your vaccination record.

Recently, the launch of the Electronic Vaccination Record (CVE) has made it easier to keep your vaccination status up to date. The CVE is a system that digitally records patients' vaccinations. It allows you to view your vaccinations and receive notifications for vaccination reminders.
