Proper use of medicines
The appropriate use of a medicine is defined as the use of the following for a given patient:
- The right medicine for the right indication (an authorised and prescribed condition),
- At the right dose and via the right route of administration (oral, topical, injectable, etc.),
At the right frequency and for an appropriate duration.
