Stage 2

As part of the previous 2018–2023 coalition agreement, an interministerial working group was tasked with preparing a report on the 'Experimental scheme granting legal access to cannabis for non-medical purposes'.

The current 2023–2028 coalition agreement of the Luxembourg Government states that:

The cultivation of cannabis for personal use as legally permitted will be maintained. The Government will observe the position of the three neighbouring countries on the legalisation of cannabis.
