Colorectal cancer - set the odds in your favour, get tested
BLUE MARCH: colorectal cancer prevention and screening month
To mark 'Blue March': a month-long campaign to raise awareness and encourage screening for colorectal cancer, the Ministry of Health and Social Security is bringing back its communication campaign under the banner: 'Colorectal cancer - set the odds in your favour, get tested'.
To tackle this disease as effectively as possible, the aim remains the same: to increase participation in the colorectal cancer screening programme overseen by the Health Directorate's Cancer-Screening Programmes Coordination Centre.
Prevention actions planned for Blue March by the Ministry of Health and Social Security
- Posters will be displayed in pharmacies and GP practices to raise awareness on this subject.
- Explanatory videos on the topic of colorectal cancer will appear on Ministry of Health and Social Security social networks.
- In addition, meetings will be organised in the relevant places so people with concerns about the screening process can find out more.
