Immediate Direct Payment (PID)

Immediate Direct Payment (PID) allows general practitioners, specialists and dentists to receive the reimbursed portion (88% for doctors) directly from the National Health Fund (CNS). This means that the insured person no longer has to pay upfront for the costs covered by the health and maternity insurance scheme and only pays the remaining amount (12% and any personal contributions).

With PID:
