DASHBOARD: Pollen count

The Dashboard enables people with allergies to find out what the alert levels are for various types of pollens that are present in the air in Luxembourg. Real-time data on pollen counts in Luxembourg is captured using sensors installed on the CHL's roof. The Luxembourg aerobiology station – which is financed by the Ministry of Health and Social Security, and managed by the National Immunology-Allergology Service (Service national d’immunologie-allergologie) of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) – analyses the ambient air and provides information on the presence of the 11 most allergenic types of pollen. The most important are, in chronological order, hazel, alder, ash, birch, oak, grass, and mugwort.

The pollen count levels are updated three times a day, and classified into three categories: low, moderate and high allergenic risk.

The 'concentration' tab shows data on the various types of pollen collected over several years.

In addition, practical advice is given to reduce or prevent exposure to pollen.
