The vaccine also makes you stronger against flu.
Influenza is contagious and occurs every year from October to March. In winter 2022, this disease may have even more serious consequences, as fewer people will have acquired natural immunity to influenza during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning that more people are likely to contract it.
The campaign ‘Against flu too: the vaccine makes you stronger’ aims to encourage the population to get vaccinated against this infectious disease, especially those at risk.
Those at risk are people aged 65 and over, pregnant women, those with chronic illnesses or weakened immune systems, and HIV-positive patients. People who are in regular contact with those at risk of serious illness are also encouraged to get vaccinated, such as close family and friends, as well as professionals who come into contact with these individuals.
Actions implemented during the campaign:
- Flyer
- Lunchtalk for healthcare professionals
