European and international cooperation arrangements

International cooperation is a major activity of the Radiation Protection Division (DRP).

It involves:

• contributing to European and global progress on nuclear safety and radiation protection;
• maintaining and improving national expertise in nuclear safety and radiation protection.
  

The DRP engages in dialogue with its European counterparts and acts as the national contact point for more than 20 international institutions and instruments.
