2014/05 - Recommendations (Pdf, 324 Kb) on measles, mumps and rubella vaccination combined with chicken-pox vaccination

The Superior Council of Infectious Diseases (Conseil supérieur des maladies infectieuses - CSMI) recommends vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox) using a combined tetravalent vaccine (MMRV) at the age of 12 months, with a booster between the age of 15 and 23 months. The two doses should be administered at least four to six weeks apart. In adults born after 1980 who have not previously received two doses of the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine, a single MMR vaccine booster dose is indicated.
