2012/10 - Recommendations (Pdf, 344 Kb) for Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PPE) of rabies

These recommendations provide details on prophylactic treatment when contamination by the rabies virus is suspected. It is recommended that persons who have previously been vaccinated against rabies be vaccinated again. For persons who have never been vaccinated against rabies, the vaccination schedule now calls for four injections.
