    The Superior Council of Infectious Diseases (Conseil supérieur des maladies infectieuses - CSMI) was informed by GSK – the vaccine's manufacturer – that it would not be able to meet demand for its hepatitis A vaccines (Havrix 1440 and Havrix junior 720) in 2015, due to production-related issues. As such, the CSMI considered that it would be appropriate to inform the medical profession of the strategies it could adopt to manage the shortage of the Havrix vaccine in 2015.
