Radon in buildings

Due to its physical and chemical properties, radon can spread over long distances. In favourable conditions, it will penetrate buildings and accumulate inside them. A number of steps can be taken to keep radon out of a building. Of course, it is simpler to incorporate anti-radon measures in during the construction phase. But, remedial measures can also be carried out in existing buildings.
