Risks
Addiction
- Even though they are designed to help people quit smoking, they contain nicotine and can maintain or cause addiction if misused.

- Jaw pain (especially if chewed excessively)
Incorrect use
- If chewed too quickly or swallowed, this may cause abdominal pain or reduce the effect of the nicotine.
Contraindications
