Individuals with specific needs, people with disabilities, and health and safety
A disabled worker is any person whose ability to work has been reduced by at least 30 % as a result of:
- an accident at work in a company that is legally established in Luxembourg;
- war-related events, or measures introduced by an occupier;
- a physical, mental, sensorial or psychological deficiency, or psychosocial difficulties aggravating the deficiency, and who is deemed fit to perform paid work in the ordinary labour market or in a sheltered workshop. (…)
Applications for recognition of disabled-worker status must be sent to the Medical Commission, as provided for in Article L. 564-2 of the Luxembourg Labour Code.
