Vaccinations for children

In Luxembourg, almost all parents vaccinate their children. The Ministry of Health and Social Security recommends that parents vaccinate their children against the vaccine-preventable diseases covered by the national vaccination programme. This service is free of charge. The Ministry considers these vaccinations to be necessary to protect children against dangerous or even fatal illnesses.
