Theme Day: ‘Creating a healthy environment in nurseries’

An awareness-raising day dedicated to environmental health in nurseries will be held on 21 October 2026 at the Machera Cultural Centre in Grevenmacher.

This event will enable early years professionals to better understand the impact of the living environment on the health and well-being of very young children, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life – a period that is particularly important for their development. The environmental health initiative in nurseries aims, in particular, to reduce young children’s exposure to undesirable substances and factors and to promote a healthy living environment.

On the programme:

  • Indoor air quality
  • Endocrine disruptors
  • Hygiene and cleaning
  • Simple steps towards a healthier environment
  • The benefits of contact with nature
